Remembering Menelik (Emperor of Ethiopia) & Victory of Adwa with Dr. Haregewoin

BantuNauts RAYdio joined Dr Abebe Haregewoin to remember Emperor Menelik II and the anniversary of The Battle of Adwa which was fought on 2 March 1896/Yekatit 23, 1889 according to the Ethiopian calendar between the Ethiopian Empire and the Kingdom of Italy near the town of Adwa, Ethiopia, in Tigray.
On this date in 1896, Ethiopia defeated the Italian colonial army in the Battle of Adwa. This victory signaled the decline of European colonialism in Black Africa.
