The Fourth of July is a federal holiday in the United States. It is also known as Independence Day or July 4th and celebrates the Declaration of Independence of the United States. Episode 57 aired on July 4th, 2015. To commemorate the occasion, we opened the show with James Earl Jones’ reading of The Meaning of July Fourth for the Negro. It is a speech that was given by Frederick Douglass at Rochester (New York) on July 5th in 1852. Following the speech is almost 100 minutes of non-stop music mix. A real global eargasm!
